In order to enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on your Origin/EA App account, you will need to follow these steps:
- Log in to your Origin/EA App account.
- Click on your profile icon in the top right corner and select “Account settings”.
- Select “Security” from the list on the left.
- Locate the “Login Verification” section and click on the “Turn on” button.
- You will be asked to verify your identity - click “Send security code”.
- Open your mailbox. An email from EA support will be sent there. If you don't receive an email, make sure to check your spam folder.
- Enter the security code you received via mail and click click “Submit”.
- Select how would you like to receive the verification code: Text message, Authenticator App, or Email.
- If you chose Text message, provide your phone number and confirm it with the code you receive via text message.
- If you chose the Authenticator App, you will be provided with a QR code to scan with the app of your choice.
- If you chose Email, you will need to confirm it with the code you receive via mailbox.
