In order to enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on your Playstation account, you will need to follow these steps:

• Log in to your Playstation account
• Click on your profile icon in the top right corner and select “Account settings” from the dropdown menu.
• Click on the “Security” icon from the list on the left.
• You will be informed about redirection to another page. Click “Continue”.
• Locate the “2-Step Verification” section and click “Edit”.
• Select how would you like to receive the verification code: Text message or Authenticator App
  • If you chose Text message, provide your phone number and confirm it with the code you receive via text message.
  • If you chose the Authenticator App, you will be provided with a QR code to scan with the app of your choice.

All done! Your account is now protected with an additional security layer.
